Pictures show the property to always have a certain section. This must not necessarily be a disadvantage. The focus on a particular detail can be very exciting. But if there is a view in a city enjoys, or is at a great place, it is mainly the overall impression of the exercise special fascination.
By the end of my small London show I've saved it to me: London in widescreen:
In 1910, the upper course of the Tower Bridge was closed. Only in 1982 they were re-opened and have since been used as a museum. It is worth a visit if only because of the view of the Thames. If you look towards the east, showing on the right bank of the famous Tower of London. Exactly opposite is the London City Hall. The 45 meters high, lump-like building is in the picture (2001) still under construction. It was opened in July 2002. The form of the Norman Foster-designed City Hall is controversial and compared with numerous items, including the helmet of Darth Vader, a depressed egg, a motorcycle helmet or a "glass testicle".
The panorama shows a section of about 170 °. To view you need the Java plugin for your browser. If it is installed on your computer, you can simply click on the thumbnail.

The British Museum is one of the largest and most important cultural and historical museums in the world. Placed finish in 1848, it was designed with a square floor plan of Robert Smirke. The picture shows the courtyard can be seen, with 7,100 square meters which is the largest covered public square in Europe. The steel and glass construction of the roof consists of 1656 pairs of glass plates and was completed in 2000. The glass roof was designed by architect Sir Norman Foster, who is also responsible for the City Hall in London and the glass dome of the Reichstag in Berlin. The picture shows a section of about 185 °.

St. Paul's Cathedral is the main church of the diocese of London. Its dome is 111 feet high. 111 meters 365 feet correspond, therefore, for each day of the year. The cathedral is one of the largest religious buildings in the world and the dome is the second largest after St. Peter's Basilica in Rome. Above the dome is a viewing platform, which can be climbed via 530 steps. From there you have a spectacular view of the city. Consists of 14 individual recordings of this 360 degree panorama of the skyline of London. But only for heights

Palace of Westminster (Houses of Parliament) and Big Ben is one of the most monumental building on the Thames. The oldest part of this palace built in neo-Gothic style goes back to 1067th It houses the British Parliament - the upper and lower houses. The two panoramic images provide a wonderful pan (about 190 degrees) over the Thames between Lambeth Bridge and Westminster Bridge respectively just before and just after sunset.

Since the Middle Ages is considered the center of Trafalgar Square in London. It is the largest square in London and a popular tourist destination, meeting and demonstration space. The column in the middle (Nelson Column) honors Admiral Lord Nelson's victory for the British against the French at the Battle of Trafalgar. 2003 after extensive renovations of the space was re-opened to the public. The two panoramas (360 degrees) allow a complete panoramic view before renovation (2001) and later (2008).
Queen Elizabeth I, personally, it was that on 23 January 1571 the first stock exchange opened in the city of London. The Royal Exchange has been in its history, repeatedly destroyed by fires (1666 and 1838). The building in classical style, as in the panorama of the square (approx. 170 °) can be seen, was handed over in 1844 by Queen Victoria in its determination.

Last but not least: the "most colorful crossroads" of London - the Picaddilly Circus. Like a giant billboard facades of adjacent buildings are plastered with giant screens. Here you can feel the metropolitan city ...
